2023 KCHA Spring Conference

On May 15-17, the Kansas County Highway Association hosted our 2023 KCHA Annual Spring Conference and Exhibition at the Four Points Sheraton in Manhattan, Kansas. The conference kicked off on Monday, May 15, with a damp and cool golf tournament (and I’m glad I wasn’t able to play) at Colbert Hills in Manhattan. That same day, Norm Bowers presented his “New Road Supervisor’s Workshop” to 13 county highway participants.

We had 34 vendors attend and exhibit at our conference, which is quite a few more than last year! As well, many of these vendors also sponsored the conference and golf event. Thank you to all of our vendors and sponsors for your generous support in another successful conference and exhibition! We had 85 registered KCHA members in attendance who enjoyed breakout sessions with great speakers along with many valuable hours of networking with their colleagues from all across our Kansas Counties.

KCHA is a Kansas Association of Counties affiliate member, and the KAC staff’s assistance helped us to provide a successful Spring Conference. All the communications and announcements from the KAC staff undoubtedly contributed to our attendance numbers, which in turn helped make it a great experience for all conference participants. The KCHA Board, along with our KAC partner, are already looking forward to next year’s 2024 KCHA Spring Conference and Exhibition.

Thank you to each of you – our county attendees, vendors, and sponsors – for your participation in the 2023 KCHA Annual Spring Conference & Exhibition!

Sincerely,

Andrew J. Asch
2023 KCHA President
